Risky Business DVD Rom

Risky Business is an interactive, young people friendly DVD Rom to be used to support delivery of Key Stage 3 and 4 Sex and Relationship Education, in particular around prevention of teenage pregnancy, risky behaviour and promoting self respect.

Risky Business was developed with funding from Walsall Teaching Primary care Trust – Teenage Pregnancy Team, and managed by Walsall Creative Development Team – Walsall Council and created by Round Midnight Ltd with help from staff and pupils at:

The Ruiz Centre – Key stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit
The Shepwell Centre – Key stage 3&4 Pupil referral unit
The New leaf Centre – Key Stage 4 Pupil Referral Unit

Designed through consultation with local young people and teaching staff this DVD-Rom is split into 4 sections.

Chance or No Chance – A spoof game show similar to Deal or No Deal that contains powerful messages about risky behaviour. Suitable for Key Stage 4 pupils.

The Quiz – An interactive quiz about risky behaviour. This should be played after watching Chance or No Chance. Suitable for Key Stage 4

Don’t Be No Stereotype – A song and online comic book exploring teenage pregnancy. Suitable for Key Stage 3&4

Risky Business has been designed as a tool that can be used in a variety of ways. We would therefore urge you to familiarise yourself fully with Risky Business and use it as you feel appropriate.
