Think First
Round Midnight are working with Walsall Creative Development Team and Salisbury School on "Think First" a project that will raise Key Stage 1 pupils and parents/carers awareness of National Curriculum PSHE Key Stage 1 drugs education.‘Think First’ is the creation of an interactive live art gallery of ideas, relating to keeping safe, taking care of our bodies, dangerous substances and behaving responsibly. These ideas will be explored using drama, dance, arts and discussion. The main driving message regarding all themes being, Think First.Work will begin on the project in September 2006
Reunited
Round Midnight are currently working with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership on their Senior leadership Development programme. A new piece of theatre entitled "Reunited" has been commissioned by CEL and Round Midnight also facilitate a series of workshops for the participants of the programme.
Reunited looks at the relationship between four college friends meeting together for the first time in many years. Can they treat each other as "grown ups" or will they revert to the roles they use to play.
The piece features Dharmander Singh as Raj, Julie Baker as Cassie, Stuart Lane as Jason and Emmi Isham as Zoe.
The Senior leadership development programme (SLDP) is a unique personal and professional programme designed for senior leaders and principals of the future.
It provides a challenging and stimulating learning experience that increases the capacity of its participants to become successful and effective Principals and Chief Executives.
There is an emphasis on the inter-relations between theory, practice and context of leadership and the programme draws heavily on participants as a resource and agents of change in their organisation.

Suffering Children in Power
We have been commisoned by Suffering Children in Power to produce a piece of Theatre in Education that responds to the issues of physical and sexual abuse. The piece is being written by Gwen Williams.
The TIE piece communicates the realities of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional or neglect) in child/ adolescent friendly terms, along with constructive options open to children when abuse is apparent in their lives and the positive outcomes that action will bring.Educational Objectives
By the end of the learning experience students will be able to:
Identify abusive situations
Identify symptoms of abuse in others
Have a basic understanding of the Safeguarding networkSuffering Children in Power wants to move abuse and the combat of abuse forward in children’s educational agenda. Society agrees that the abuse of children is despicable and the statistics speak for them selves with regard to its prevalence and negative outcome.Suffering Children in Powers intervention will:
facilitate schools adherence to the Education Act 2002 and the spirit of the Every Child Maters paper facilitate schools inclusion of a very sensitive and essential subject in their learning rota ensure children receive accurate, appropriately positioned information regarding abuse, its outcomes and positive action options if abusive behaviour makes itself apparent.The tour begins in secondary schools in 2007.
